St. Andrä in the Lavant valley

St. Andrä is one of the oldest cities of Carinthia. During the first half of the 14th century, city-status has been assigned to the community of St. Andrä. The church of pilgrimage and marriages ‚Maria Loreto’ with its chapel of mercy of the "Black Madonna", the current parish church, former church of the cathedral of saint Andreas, as well as various other churches within and around St. Andrä determine the imagine of its historic centre and its attractive surroundings. The cultivation of fruits is a tradition in the Lavant valley with a history of approximately 1000 years. "Experience nature: agriculture/tradition ", "Experience nature: family holidays" and "Experience nature: sports and leisure" offer numerous possibilities to experience culture and tradition.
