Trotting
and galloping through the countryside on horseback, enjoying nature.
There are approximately 100 km of bridle
paths around St. Andrä. The numerous peaceful tracks passing through the
woods and over the fields invite both rider and horse to relax and are
located far from the city centre. It’s possible to have lessons for
beginners and intermediates as well as riding either indoors and outdoors.
Trekking-rides, extensive rides and rides to the mountain pasture complete
the variety of activities on horseback. The idyllic stable in the village of
Dachberg is a meeting point for many professional and amateur riders.
|
In the whole region of Carinthia,
bridle paths are marked with a white horse’s head on brown ground.
You can easily recognise the various routes through numerous orange
signboards showing arrows. |
After your return
from a ride in a horse or donkey carriage or from hiking, cycling or riding
you can enjoy the local food in one of our traditional taverns.
We
wish you a pleasant ride on horseback in one of the most beautiful
landscapes of Carinthia.
